Tucked in the corner, at the foot of the magnolia soulangiana, is a small preformed pond. It provides a contemplative focal point from the stone patio area. It's mood changes with the light - here, on a cloudy day, the pond feature takes on a more serious tone. In the pond are yellow flag iris, dwarf cattails and water hyacinth.
	On a sunny day, charged with dappled sunlight, it's much more open and upbeat.
